| but... That probably means the seekers of slaanesh (whom were pulled with no explanation from their site and catalogue to be re-done couple months ago) will be more expensive since they won't be due for a few more months, my daemons need more fast attack rending diddly but i'd rather not spend more for them :'( | |

| Let's face it GW are over priced! The Thunderfire Cannon is a prime example. There are loads more games out there that are far more rewarding and although this is an expensive hobby there are producers who are actively looking for ways to reduce the cost to consumers (I'll mention no names, PP) What irks me even more is that GW doesn't seem to pay any heed to their player base, they just don't seem to care! Any way that's my rant for the day... | |

| wihout GW, although it does money-spin, I think that without it, the hobby would be a lot less popular. We can give them that much credit. they are expensive for what they are, but the veteran gamers are not their target audiance. It is the 8-18yr old boys is the target for the main 2 games, fantasy and 40k. LotR not included for good reason. For the veteran gamers in the world, GW have the specialist games range, which you need very few models to play, and is easy to get going with. These are sidelines as they do not generate cash from selling a team of 20 Bloodbowl players which can be used for the next 2 years, for example. If you think GW charges too much, or demands you buy the latest add-on too often, then you should be playing a specialist game instead. You will have a more satisfying time gaming, and you will only have to spend half the time setting up your army as you do for an apocolypse game of 40k. Also, not only does GW single handidly support the hobby, it is a 10% British company, that I feel we should be proud of what it achieves, and back it where and when we can. I think this is officially the longest reply I have ever written to a thread. | |
