1000pt WarMenoth Vs Skorne

Well.. on Friday 30th January Neal and Alex came face to face over a 4' square patch of carpet. We deccided to battle with a mission out of Hordes called 'Lines of Confusion' It wtas 1000pt per side, so 2 caster. Both sides having lots of infantry and around 6 jacks/beasts per side

Deployment was a bit crazy - several patrol from each side have sumbled upon each other.
The result was we both deployed around 3 markers placed anywhere on the board.

Skorne got the first turn - oh my did they make Menoth feel the pain! The High Reclaimer thaught he was safe hiding behind a wall, but Hexeris and the gang drew line of sight. Abra-Cadabra and the Hight Reclaimer went to meet Mr Menoth in the sky. Rubbish!

Aftter this severe blow, Neal was having to play very defensively to keep his last warcaster alive - Kreoss was on his own. he took control of an inert heavy warjack, casting his feat, throwing all the enemy Skonre to the floor. The deliverer rocket launchers tried to take advantage of this to fire the rockets ot hexeris, only for a rocket to explose in the tube, killing 4 ofthe squad!

Kreoss would have to wait for the cavalry to arrive, along with the full unity if Zeaolots who were out on a limb.

As the night drew on, Kreoss wass assaulted on 3 fronts with magic, and devestating close combat.

Around 2.30am with the cavalry reinforcement still a good distance off, Kreoss succuimbed to the shear weight of numbers in close combat to paingivers and some ugly light warbeast.

Ouch losing caster in turn 1 is a bit unfortunate. How close were you deployed for that to happen?

they started about 18" apart, due to the counter laying deployment.

The majority of his army was sandwiched between pretty much all of mine.
