how do u distroy vehicles

ive just started playing warhammer 40k and i for got how to distroy vehicles

could any one help me

Gotta-
roll D6 and add the weapon's strength to that and if its equal to the armour value of whatever side your shooting, then its a glancing, if its over the AV then its penetrating, consult the vehicle damage table to see what happens
Don't forget some weapons roll 2d6 + strength, they say when they do that

If its close combat with a tank then melee hits are always done on the back AV; unless its a walker, like my Soul Grinder

but wat if u have 6 or more people shooting then do u roll 6 d6 dice plus do u need to roll to hit

if your shooting at a vehicle then ya you still need to roll to hit as normal using the BS of the attacking models. Unless all the guns are identical in terms of strength etc you should roll different guns seperately. Don't forget that if a space marine tactical squad with a missile launcher attacks a vehicle with a krak missile, though the bolters ain't gonna phase a tank- they gotta shoot at it anyway
Attacking a vehicle in melee is a little different- if it didn't move last turn, then all hits in assault hit it automatically, if it moved in the turn before you assaulted it, then its hit on 4+, period (remember tanks and such can't be locked in assault, but walkers can be).

when ever you are attacking vehicles, thers is a procedure:
1. Roll to hit
2. Roll to wound/damage
3. check damage, or beats armour
